What is VAT?
VAT (Value Added Tax) or GST (Goods and Services Tax) is a consumption tax added to the cost of goods and services at each stage of production, ultimately paid by the final consumer, helping governments to generate revenue.
Tax rates vary from country to country. You can find out which tax is eligible in your country (and therefore mandatory) here.
In Dailyfy, you can add a VAT or tax number when starting a new subscription with Paddle, if your country is eligible for VAT.
Add VAT to an existing subscription :
To change or add your VAT number, simply click on your profile photo in the top right-hand corner, then click on invoicing.
You can then add the company address and VAT number.
After entering the commercial information and VAT number, click Save to update the invoice.
All you have to do is add the VAT once, and it will be applied to all your future invoices, so you won’t have to worry about VAT being charged again in the future.
VAT regulations vary from country to country, so be sure to research the requirements in your region.
