Things to remember before posting on Instagram
Before looking at the actual publication creation process, we’ll look at some of the limitations imposed by the Meta API.
Dailyfy uses an API connection with the Meta servers to publish your posts on Instagram.

Direct publishing on Instagram is only available for Instagram Business accounts. Find out here how to easily switch from a personal profile to a business page.

Make sure your Instagram Business page is linked to a Facebook page

The image and video ratios accepted by Instagram must be respected:
- Image: between 4:5 and 1.91:1 with a maximum resolution of 1080px
- Video (Reel) : 09/16 between 3 sec and 15 min
- Story : 09/16 JPG format only

Connect your Instagram profile
To connect your Instagram page to your DailySpace, you need to be a Dailyspace administrator. In the bottom right-hand corner of the menu, you’ll find “configuration”, just click on it and then :
- Social Networks
- Account management
- Select the Instagram logo
- Click on the “add an Instagram profile” section
- Grant all Instagram rights to Dailyfy for all pages
- Select the Instagram profile(s) you’d like to associate with this DailySpace.
You can then return to account management to check that your page is present.

To post on Instagram
It’s easy to publish or schedule on Instagram.
- You need to go to the “creation” tab
- Select one or more Instagram accounts in your profile bar
- You have a choice of formats:
- Classic publication (for a post with an image or carousel)
- Publication Story
- Reel publication for a video
- On Instagram, you can’t publish a post with just text, so you’ll need to add media from the left-hand side by uploading from your computer, via your Dailylab or online storage.
- Then all you have to do is schedule or publish your Instagram post.
