The average engagement rate is calculated on the basis of the engagement rate of your posts.

It’s an average that gives you an overview of your strategy’s performance. Thanks to this rate, you can easily :

  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of your content
  • Compare yourself to your industry
  • Analyze your performance against the competition

Dailyfy tip: Use this rate as a key indicator to adjust your social media strategy and maximize your impact!

What are the two engagement rates on Dailyfy?

On Dailyfy, we offer you two commitment rates: :

  • engagement rate by reach (interaction/reach)
  • engagement rate per subscriber (interaction/subscribers at time of publication).

How do you calculate the average engagement rate?

We collect for each post the rate of engagement on reach and subscribers to make an average according to the number of posts.

For example:

Over the past 7 days, I’ve published 3 posts. These 3 publications had the following average engagement rate on reach: 30%, 10% and 20%.

( 30+ 10 + 20 ) / 3

As a result, my average engagement on reach per publication over the last 7 days is 20%.
