How do I approve a publication?

Depending on the collaboration settings in your Dailyspace, approval of a post may be relevant or even mandatory before it can be published.

You can approve a post through the different views of your workspace, namely the feed view.

Approval in Feed view

The feed view is clearly the view most appreciated by our users for team collaboration.

To approve a post via the feed view, you must :

  1. Access the feed view from the left-hand vertical menu.
  2. Locate your post for approval or filter your feed view to display only publications awaiting approval. To do this, click on the filter icon to the left of the “compose” button under the feed’s cover image. Then select “pending” in the approval status.
  3. Click on the red icon with a person and a cross.
  4. Click on the approve button (after your first name, we’ll show you the approval date).

Approval in calendar view

As with the feed, you can manage approvals for posts made by your colleagues.

To approve a post via the calendar view, you must :

  1. Access the calendar view from the left-hand vertical menu (calendar icon).
  2. Locate your post for approval or filter your feed view to display only publications awaiting approval. To do this, click on the filter icon to the right of the “show drafts” section below the feed’s cover image. Then select “pending” in the approval status.
  3. Click on the red icon with a person and a cross.
  4. Click on the approve button (after your first name, we’ll show you the approval date).
