How do I add alternative text to my images?
Inserting Alt text for images is important because it provides context about what the image shows, especially when it can’t be viewed for whatever reason. When used correctly, it can also contribute to SEO score.
Api limit
You can't add Alt text to images in Instagram, Threads or Facebook personal profile posts, due to API limitations.
Steps for inserting alt text :
- Go to our creation/planning tool (airplane icon in the menu).
- Add a profile via our profile bar.
- Import an image to your publication
- Point your mouse over the image to access additional functions
- Click on the ALT button
- Add the text you want, then click Save.
- Proceed with the planning of your post.
Note
Alt text insertion is supported on Dailyfy for Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Facebook. However, when creating multi-photo posts on Facebook, adding Alt text will also count as a photo caption.
