What is Synch?
Sync is a great feature that allows you to publish the same content across your different platforms (Cross-platform publishing).
So, if you add a hook on Facebook, it will be automatically duplicated across other social networks.
This also works for images.
To duplicate mentions and locations, you will need to use our two universal functions:
- Universal location
- Universal mention
How to properly use the post grouping tool?
To be productive with this feature, we recommend that you follow these steps:
1. Create your hook with as many similar elements as possible for all platforms (text, visuals, cover, first comment, etc.).
2. Desynchronize and adapt content for each platform by adding specific hashtags, modifying the format according to platform requirements, or adjusting publication times (for example, for LinkedIn, publish in the morning rather than at 9 p.m.).
3. Checks each platform and schedules the group.
If, after customizing each platform, you resynchronize, we will duplicate the content of the active profile across all profiles.
When Synch is activated ?
This feature saves you time and improves your team’s productivity. As a community manager, you generally seek to optimize content creation on a given topic for all your social networks. Synch saves you time by grouping posts on a given topic across all your platforms.
You can duplicate content across all platforms with a single click, then work as a team on this group of posts communicating on the same topic.
Once synchronized, desynchronize to slightly customize the content on each platform (this avoids pure duplication). Also very handy: coupled with our universal mention tool, you can automatically associate mentions with each platform without manual intervention (we save them for next time).

When Synch is deactivated
To deactivate this feature, simply click on the blue synch option in the top right-hand corner.
When it’s OFF (grayed out), then the content won’t be duplicated on all other pages and you can customize the content specifically for the selected page.
For example, you can add 🤩, # for Instagram or slightly modify your tagline by deleting a link, for example.
